This policy explains how PROJEKTA collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese law.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Bertha Pineda (“PROJEKTA”), NIF 302696741, Portugal.
Contact for privacy questions: berthahof.projekta@gmail.com
2. What data we collect
- When you use our contact form, email us or book a call: your name, email address, company or project (optional) and the message you send us. Form messages are stored securely in our website’s database and sent to our email inbox.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter (if available): your name and email address.
- When you visit the website: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded automatically by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site working.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To reply to your questions and organise calls or projects: pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To send our newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet accounting and tax obligations when you become a client: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer you and for up to 24 months afterwards. Client data is kept for the periods required by Portuguese tax and accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run PROJEKTA, under data processing agreements, such as our website host (Hostinger) and, where used, our booking, email and newsletter tools. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU, with appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. At the moment this website only uses strictly necessary cookies needed for it to work and stay secure, which do not require consent. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google when you load a page.
If we add analytics, embedded media (such as Spotify or YouTube) or marketing tools in the future, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and you will be able to accept or reject them just as easily. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to berthahof.projekta@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
